AI Coins
AI Mode recognition is 4 coins per minute, AI translation is 1 coin per line, and transcription is 1 coin per audio-minute. Packs are also available in the extension popup.

My classes
Create a class
The join code is permanent and shared with students once. Pick something they'll recognise, like CHEM3.
4–8 characters, letters and numbers only. Codes are unique across every teacher, and some are reserved.
Creating classes needs an active trial or subscription.

Polls

Saved polls
Write a poll once and reuse it. It appears in the extension when you set up a poll on the board, so you don't retype questions between periods. Choosing what happens to the answers still happens in class, each time you run it.

Transcripts
Your class transcripts are saved to your own Google Drive, in the "Classroom Captions Transcripts" folder the extension creates. They stay in your own account, so we can't list them here.

Every message teachers have sent — through the form on this page and by email straight to support@. Each ticket shows the AI's triage and a suggested reply drafted from your knowledge base; nothing is ever sent automatically.
Every message here also lands in your inbox as a notification from support@classroomcaptions.com. Hit Reply on it from Gmail or your phone and the answer goes to the teacher from support@ — never your personal address — and appears on this thread automatically. Keep the CC-XXXXXXXX reference in the subject; replies without it are ignored.
